Terms of use
The agreement between you and Feedlits when you make Players with it. Plain where we can make it plain.
Last updated 16 October 2026
1. The service
Feedlits lets you make Players: interactive cards that play inside posts on X and on your own site, with analytics and lead capture. Feedlits is run by Daniel Kempe in the United Kingdom ("we"). These terms apply when you create an account; using Feedlits means you accept them.
Feedlits is new and is offered as a beta. Features will change, and some will break before they're fixed.
2. Plans
Feedlits is free to use during the beta. The free plan keeps up to 10 Players and up to 5 new custom (AI-built code) Players a month, and its Players carry a "Made with Feedlits" badge. Paid plans will follow; we'll tell you before anything you use starts to cost money, and nothing is charged without you choosing a plan.
3. Your account
You need to be 18 or over and using Feedlits for yourself or a business you're allowed to act for. Keep access to your email secure: whoever can read it can sign in as you. You're responsible for what happens in your workspace.
4. Your Players and content
What you put into Feedlits (words, images, logos, brand colours, code) stays yours. You give us permission to store it, copy it and show it to people, which is what's needed to run your Players, and to show the "Made with Feedlits" badge on free Players.
You're responsible for what your Players say and for having the rights to what you upload. Players made with the AI builder are yours too; check them before you publish, because AI can get things wrong.
5. Collecting emails and leads
When a Player you made collects an email, X handle or answers, you are the controller of that data and we process it for you. That means you need a lawful basis to collect it, a privacy policy linked from the Player, and a consent line that says what you'll use it for. Feedlits won't let a Player ask for email until those are set.
For that data we will: process it only to run your Players and show it to you; keep it secure; use only the providers listed in our privacy policy (and tell you before adding one); help you answer requests from the people it's about; tell you without delay if it's ever exposed; and delete it when you delete it or close your account.
6. What you can't do
- Break the law, or X's rules, with a Player.
- Mislead people: no fake giveaways, no impersonating another brand or person, no hiding where a click goes.
- Ask for passwords, payment details, government ids, health information or other sensitive data.
- Publish hateful, harassing, sexual or violent content, or anything aimed at children.
- Send spam, or use our sign-in, email or lead features to contact people who didn't ask.
- Attack, probe, overload or work around the limits of Feedlits, or try to break out of the sandbox custom Players run in.
We may take a Player down, or suspend an account, that does any of these, and where we can we'll tell you why.
7. X and other services
Players play inside posts because of X's Player Cards, which X controls. X can change how they look, where they show or whether they work at all, without notice to us or you. When we see that it has changed we tell you, and every Player keeps working as a link and as an embed on your own site, but we can't promise reach, placement or that X will keep showing them.
8. Availability
We work to keep Feedlits running and your data safe, but during the beta there is no guaranteed uptime. We may change, pause or retire features; if we ever close Feedlits, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your leads.
9. Ending
You can stop using Feedlits at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that has been unused for over a year (after emailing you first).
10. Liability
Feedlits is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost leads or lost reach, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £100 or what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. If you use Feedlits as a consumer, you also keep your statutory rights.
11. Changes and law
We'll update these terms as Feedlits grows; for changes that matter, we'll email you before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales handle any dispute.
